I have had the unique pleasure of working with Robert D. Salisbury aka "Bud" for many years. In my opinion Mr. Salisbury is one of Orange County's finest attorneys. I have assisted Mr. Salisbury with P.C. 290 cases, and writs and appeals over the years. It has been a wonderful experience working for Bud, and I consider him to be one of the top attorneys that I have worked with during my career as a paralegal.
Erwin Chemerinsky
Consulting U.S.C. Constitutional Scholar Erwin Chemerinsky on a federal habeas corpus 2254 matter in the case of State v. Johnson.
Sonny Armond was responsible for the release of Hayes Williams who served 30 years in Angola penitentiary.   Sonny took the case and had Hayes Williams out within a year on a Brady violation (exculpatory material).    The New Orleans District Attorney's Office withheld exculpatory material that would have been beneficial to Mr. Williams during his 1967 trial for murder and armed robbery.   Shortly, after the release of Mr. Williams I went to work for Sonny as his appellate law clerk.   I worked under Mr. Armond dictating criminal appeals for approximately two years. During my tenure briefing criminal appeals, post-conviction relief, and federal habeas corpus 2254, I successfully reversed a life sentence on criminal appeal.
